Course outline
Caring for the critical care patient is a specialist area of veterinary nursing, yet many of the principles involved are equally applicable to the recumbent ward patient. During this module we will equip you with the knowledge and skills that you need to provide effective rehabilitative care for all of your recumbent and critical care patients. Pain management strategies are applicable not only to your critical care patients, but also to many patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. This module will provide valuable information to help you to provide effective care for these patients.
